Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday said access to Internet is plainly non-negotiable as it flows from the right to information. The poor and illiterate people of the Agency areas of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and Chhattisgarh are easy prey for traffickers who are luring them with job offers. "More than 200 tribal folk, particularly children and women, were trafficked in the last few years, of which 50% were children aged between 8 and 15 years. Taking advantage of the poverty and illiteracy among the tribes and adivasis, mediators are exploiting them," an NGO organiser said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu planned to declare victory in Israel's election on Monday, a spokesman for his party said, after television exit polls showed him just a seat short of a governing majority in parliament. A win for Mr. Netanyahu, after inconclusive ballots in April and September, would be testimony to the political durability of Israel's longest-serving leader, who fought the latest campaign under the shadow of a looming corruption trial.
