National News:

A 12-year-old Mumbai student, Kaamya Karthikeyan has set a record of becoming the youngest in the world to summit Mt Aconcagua, the highest peak of the Andes Mountains in Argentina, South America, an official said on Sunday. Kaamya is a Class VII student of Navy Children School, achieved the feat atop the 6,962 metres tall mountain on February 1 where she unfurled the Indian tricolour.

Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said that sports not only keeps to maintain perfect health and mental condition in perfect manner but also promote self confidence in the students. Addressing after inaugurating AP CM CUP 2019-2020 organized by Sport Authority of Andhra Pradesh(SAAP), from 9th to 11th February in Kadapa on Sunday the deputy chief minister Amzath Basha recalled that in view of promoting sports especially in rural areas former chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy has established Sports School in Kadapa district.

The Indian government is open to further consolidation of banks depending on need, Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur has said. Last year, the government announced mega amalgamation of 10 public sector banks into four to cater to the needs of the aspirational New India.

The number of deaths in China's central Hubei Province from a coronavirus outbreak had risen by 91 to 871 as of February 9, the Province's health commission said in a statement on its website on February 10.

Pakistan teenager Naseem Shah grabbed a hat trick against Bangladesh on February 9 to become the youngest person to record the feat in Test cricket. Naseem, aged 16 years and 359 days, trapped Najumul Hossain Shanto leg before off the fourth ball of his seventh over, then followed up with dismissals of Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah with successive deliveries.
